Tour Details:
Duration:
Typically half-day or full-day tours. Depending on how many people are on each boat, there is a queue that we have to follow and each group has only 4 people every 25 mins to give change to others to see the dugong.
Departure:
From Coron Town or selected resorts to Macalanchao Port 2 hours travel by van and 40 mins boat. Pick up time : 5:00 AM- 5:30 AM
Boat Ride:
Enjoy a scenic boat ride to the dugong sighting areas, which are often located in secluded lagoons or bays.
Snorkeling Equipment:
Snorkel mask and fins are included but it's recommended to bring your own if you have specific preferences.
Guided Tour:
Experienced guides will provide insights into the behavior of dugongs and the local marine ecosystem.
Tips:
- Respectful Behavior: Avoid touching or disturbing the dugongs. Maintain a safe distance to minimize stress at least 5 Meter. Avoid swimming in front of it.
- Timing: The best time for dugong watching is typically during the early morning or late afternoon when they are more active, or if it's low time.
- Environmental Awareness: Be mindful of your impact on the marine environment. Avoid touching corals or disturbing other marine life.
- Booking: Reserve your tour in advance, especially during peak seasons, to ensure availability.

- Island Hopping: Combine the dugong watching tour with beach visit to explore other stunning destinations if the dugong has not arrived yet in the morning.
